About – Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) has progressed significantly since as a statutory body under the Ministry of Finance in 1974. To date, BSN’s customer base of 9 million is serviced by more than 6,000 employees in over 390 branches nationwide. In view of our strategic transformation plans to strengthen and propel BSN to greater heights, we seek committed and talented individuals to fill the following position:-

1. HRIS Officer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analysis and support of total Human Resource Information System & Employee Self Service ( ESS )
  • A team member to liaise with Vendor to ensure system related issues are resolved without delay
  • To ensure accuracy of employee data, including changes to salary, promotions, enrolment in medical plan, benefits, leave application, etc.
  • To prepare ad-hoc, monthly or yearly report upon request.
  • Familiar with HR standard operation procedures ( SOP ) and provide recommendations and improvements to enhance HRIS workflow processes.
  • Performs scheduled and ad-hoc setup based on any changes of organization structure
  • To ensure proper administration of all documents and records for easy access and retrieval

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Familiar with Crystal Report
  • Experience in handling HR Software/ Applications eespcially in KAIZEN
  • The person must be detail-oriented, multi-tasking and able to work under pressure.

2. Section Head Credit Administration

Main Responsibilities:

  • To achieve target set by management pertaining to quantum of loan disbursed monthly
  • Ensuring loan pre-disbursement, completion of the documentation process and interest of the bank is protected before the loan released and authorising the disbursement after all docuemnts checked by the officers disbursement to b done within turn around time (TAT)
  • Ensure all the property charged to the bank to be covered by Fire Insurance and renewed on timely manner
  • Monitor and manage all Life Coverage under RTT/RTA and MRTT/MRTA policy
  • Ensure all insurance claims to be attended within turn around time (TAT)
  • Manage and liaise for completeness of all financing / loan documentations including to monitor lawyers on any incomplete documents and safe keeping
  • Monitoring the issuance of redemption statement conventional and Islamic loans
  • Monitoring for the settlement of financing/loan part or full balance, balancing of accounts entries for settlement transactions and discharge of charge process after the settlement of facilities
  • Ensure all financing/loan transactions and entries in the system is managed correctly
  • Attend to all Audit Query within specified time
  • Monitor and managing/handling customer inquiries, complaints and resolve and provide solutions within a specified time frame via phone, email and formal letter
  • Supervise subordinates on staff matters such as appraisal, discripline, leave applications, triaing schedule and motivations

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in credit evaluation or as a Credit Analyst.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills, must be able to work under minimum supervision
  • Experience in Islamic Banking and possess CCP certificate will be an advantage
  • Conversant with lending schemes under the BNM

3. Section Head Credit Processing

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and evaluate credit applications from Retail Banking loan and to ensure quality assets are booked in the business
  • To ensure compliance of Group Credit Policy, Statutory Guidelines (BNM/GP guidelines and Legal Principles of Lending)
  • To make credit decisions to either approve or decline within delegated discretionary authority limits
  • To ensure vigilant in identifying and adverse signs or red flags indicating deterioration in existing account quality and recommending appropriate remedial action
  • To ensure service standards on Turnaround Time for credit application processing are consistently met
  • To review / re-engineer existing work-flows, procedures and processes with a view to reduce costs and increase revenue
  • To provide relevant MIS analysis relating to credit applications as and when required
  • To provide guidance and training to your subordinates on an on-going basis

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in credit evaluation or as a Credit Analyst.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills, must be able to work under minimum supervision
